Vacation Bible Study
Thank you for joining us for a great VBS!
Join us Sunday June 15th at 10am for Worship the VBS kids will be singing 2 songs during the service.
We were able to collect more than $300 in the loose change challenge to help feed those in need of food.

Helpful Reminder

VBS runs Monday June 9 - Friday June 13, 9am - 12pm each day, with check-in opening at 8:30am.

It is very important that your child is present for the whole time.

Everyone is encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes (if possible).

Those who are 4 years old are encouraged to bring an extra pair of cloths. Please put name on all items and in a bag with the name on it.

You will come to building D to sign in your child each day. (Yes, there are big letters on each building).

Sign out starts at 11:50 but dismissal doesn't start until noon.
Friday Pizza Party
All of our VBS families are invited to join us at the end of camp on Friday at 11:15am for a free pizza party! We will have the kids sing their favorite songs. Then there will be pizza, bouncy games, face painting and Kona Ice. All participants of VBS will get one Kona Ice free.
Please RSVP for all of your family members that will be there by Wed at 1pm.

Meet our Children's Ministry Staff





Jessie Kuehner
Director of Christian Education
Jessie Kuehner (key-ner) is joining the ministry team of First Presbyterian Church as Director of Christian Education. She oversees everything Children's Ministry. Jessie and her family are relocating from Houston, TX. She is a Certified Christian Educator in the PC(USA). She graduated from Fuller Seminary with MDiv with “Emphasis in Family, Youth and Culture.” She did her Undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska in Sports Medicine and Pre-Med. She is a huge Huskers fan. She has been in ministry for more than 10 years serving children, youth, collegians and all ages.

Janine Jones
Director of Primo/Children's Choir
As the Children's Choir Director, Janine is responsible for overseeing and conducting the First Presbyterian's Children's Choir, and also for Pre-K - 5th grade music instruction in the Quest program, which meets Wednesdays after school. Janine is the Administrative Director for Primo School for the Performing Arts at First Presbyterian, and is a flute instructor for Primo. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, and her Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University. She completed her Orff-Schulwerk teaching certifications, Master's Level, at Memphis State University. She is currently the music teacher at Osceola Magnet School, where she has twice been named Teacher of the Year. At Osceola, Janine directs a choir, 2 Orff ensembles and a ukulele ensemble. Her students participate in all-state ensembles on an annual basis. Janine is also a National Board Certified Teacher.
Peter Mahtani
Associate Director of Music
As associate music director, Peter is responsible for the children's bells along with other music opportunities in our church. Peter received his Bachelor of Music Education from Grove City College and his M.M. in Choral Conducting from Messiah College. Peter also assists with the Quest program and other musical endeavors at the church. Before moving to Vero, Peter taught K-8 music and Middle and High school choirs for eight years in Pittsburgh, PA.

Lorie Rudolph
Preschool Director
Lorie Rudolph is the Director of First Presbyterian Preschool. As an experienced educator in early and elementary education she brings innovative curriculum and instructional tools to benefit our children in a Christian environment.

Milka Aristide
Nursery Coordinator
Milka has been married to her wonderful husband Kenny for 14 years. She is a homemaker to our four amazing children. She loves working with children. Prior to having her own family, she was a substitute teacher for many years and to be in a classroom every day brought me so much joy. She has been a part of FPC ever since her son started attending preschool. Once she heard of the Quest program and became involved, she was hooked! The rest, as they say, is history.
