Quest
First Presbyterian Church
The mission of Quest is to provide a superior Christian-based after school program that
equips the mind, body, and spirit of children in Indian River County. We will accomplish
this mission by using a rotational workshop method, which is divided into age groups. We
will rotate through different workshops throughout the school year.
Workshops include:
Arts & Crafts
Bible Studies
Homework and tutoring will be offered as needed
We also have special guests, activities and events throughout the year.
Quest Family Night Suppers includes delicious dinners and special
events. The time is 5:30 PM.
We welcome your children to Quest, an after school program for children in grades
kindergarten through 5th grade. We meet from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays
(2:00 p.m. on early release days following the Indian River County School calendar. We
provide snacks and an age specific workshop program for your children. We also provide
transportation from several schools, however this is limited to availability on the church
buses.
In order to staff the program effectively, pick up your child no later than 5:15 p.m. Please
support our staff by honoring this request.
In order to cover the costs of the program, Quest has a one time donation for the year.
One child is $25, two children is $45 and three or more children is $60. Field trips will be
taken throughout the year and are optional. We attempt to get group rates and ask that you
cover this expense for your child(ren). We also encourage you to volunteer from time to
time in assisting our staff with chaperoning field trips and the various workshops. Your
involvement is greatly appreciated!
