Children's ministries are growing at First Presbyterian Church. Our Young Disciples are
learning the core values of Christianity. Each week offers many opportunities to grow
together.
Sunday school is offered at 9:00 AM each Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day for
children of all ages - preschool through high school.
During Worship at 10, the younger children are invited forward for a Time for Young
Disciples--a time just for them to learn from one of our pastors or the Christian Educator.
Following the Time for Young Disciples, the children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade are
invited to enjoy activities including games, crafts or video until their parents pick them up
after worship. The older children are encouraged to stay and worship with their families
On the first Sunday of each month, the children are also helpers in collecting our "Two
Cents a Meal" offering.

| First Presbyterian Sunday School Children’s Creed I believe in God, Creator of Heaven and Earth and all things, who loves everyone no matter what. I believe God is a Friend and lives in our hearts and everywhere. I believe in a God who forgives. I believe Jesus is the Son of God. He was born to a carpenter and a virgin. I believe Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and healed the sick. I believe Jesus died on the cross for us and ascended into heaven after three days of separation. I believe the Holy Ghost is a part of us and talks to us at all times. I believe the Holy Ghost is everywhere and keeps everyone connected. |
