First Presbyterian Church
Morning Out for Mothers has just completed its 15th year serving mothers and
their pre-schoolers at First Presbyterian Church. This year, the program
served children 6 months to 4 years of age. Meeting Tuesdays from 10:00 AM
until 12:00 noon children had a chance to play and learn in a loving caring
environment, while mothers had a chance to meet and share with other mothers
of pre-school children. The program included free play, stories, crafts, snack,
playground time, for all children while the pre-schoolers enjoyed additional
learning activities. At the direction of the Children’s Ministry Team, an
Advisory Board is being formed to oversee and give direction to the MOM
program. The Board will be comprised of 2 mothers from the church and 2
mothers outside the church who participate in MOM , the Program Director and
2 members at large from the congregation.
We are accepting applications for next year. Please call the church office for a
registration form. The program is open to children outside our congregation as
well as to our members.

Our MOM program is offering a summer extension this year. In
cooperation with Little Wonders playgroup, mothers and
pre-schoolers will meet on Tuesdays from 10-12 beginning on
June 3rd. Parents are present with their children at every
